Shaping the future of British jewellery manufacturing

For almost 80 years, Weston Beamor has been shaping the future of British jewellery manufacturing.

Founded in Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter in 1947, our story began with a vision to create exceptional jewellery through craftsmanship, technical expertise and trusted partnerships. What started as a specialist manufacturer has grown into one of the UK's leading jewellery manufacturing businesses, supporting independent retailers, luxury brands and designers with the expertise to bring their ideas to life.

About us - Our Story

The Early Years

In the company's early years, founder John Beale played a defining role in establishing Weston Beamor's reputation. After taking ownership of the business in 1949, he worked alongside Works Manager Ernest Philips to build a culture centred on quality, innovation and service – values that continue to guide the business today.

As the business grew, so did our ambitions. Weston Beamor expanded through a series of larger premises across Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter, continually investing in its people, facilities and manufacturing capabilities. In 1979, Patrick Fuller joined the business, bringing fresh leadership that would help shape the company's future and influence the wider jewellery industry for decades to come.

A Defining Chapter

A defining chapter began in 1983 with the launch of Domino. Built on beautifully designed collections, technical excellence and outstanding customer service, Domino quickly became one of the UK's most respected bridal jewellery brands. Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, both businesses continued to evolve, while Patrick Fuller played a leading role in the industry, serving as Chairman of the British Jewellers' Association before later becoming President of both the British Jewellery Giftware & Finishing Federation and the National Association of Jewellers.

About us - Our Story
A Growing Demand

As demand continued to grow, Weston Beamor established its home on Vyse Street in 1995, where we continue to design and manufacture jewellery today. The move marked another significant investment in British manufacturing and provided the foundations for future innovation and growth.

The years that followed saw continued investment in technology, facilities and customer service. From pioneering new manufacturing techniques to unveiling our Creative Suite and opening our on-site Birmingham Assay Office, we've continually evolved to give our customers greater choice, flexibility and confidence. Every investment has been made with one goal in mind - helping our customers create exceptional jewellery more efficiently, more creatively and more responsibly.

Our commitment to craftsmanship and innovation has been recognised throughout our journey with some of the jewellery industry's highest honours. From Supplier of the Year and Ethical Jewellery Business of the Year to Outstanding Contribution to the Industry, these awards reflect decades of dedication to quality, customer partnership and British manufacturing. Alongside recognition from the Responsible Jewellery Council and a visit from HRH The Duke of Kent, they stand as milestones in our ongoing pursuit of excellence.

A Connected Business

Most recently, Weston Beamor and Domino have come together as one connected business, bringing five specialist services together under one roof: Casting, Mounts, Wedding Rings, Bespoke and Finished Jewellery. In the same year, we were honoured to be named Responsible Jewellery Business of the Year at the 2026 UK Jewellery Awards, recognising our continued investment in responsible sourcing, sustainable manufacturing and transparent business practices.

From our beginnings in 1947 to today, our story has always been built on the same foundations: craftsmanship, innovation, trusted relationships and a belief that British jewellery manufacturing has a bright future. As we continue to evolve, those values remain at the heart of everything we do.
